  The communion wafers were dry, and the wine hadnt been been aerated quite long enough. The priest's excellent attentiveness to my six year old son was awesome, even had a one on one session with him. All in all, the preaching is top notch and all the vendors are well versed in haggling. I got some of John the Baptist's pubic hairs for a steal at $49.95.

  This church sits along old RT 66. It has beautiful stained glass windows and is open usually from 8 am -3 pm for anyone to enjoy. A must stop for tourist on RT 66, and it sits right next to a 1930's era gas station museum with a gift shop.

  St. Paul's is positively beautiful! Interestingly, when Rt. 66 was the only highway through the area, the church had a tunnel built under the highway so children and adults could get across to the church and school safely. It was filled in in the 1950's, but you can still see the first few steps and railings across the street, right in front of the old rectory.
  
  The church was built in 1901 and is so lovely. Unfortunately, it wasn't opened when I was there in October 2010. I plan to go back some day to see the inside.
